I love lil’ kid shoots!
There’s nothing that keeps you on your toes more than a photo session with a toddler! What I’ve always loved most about them is that no matter what preconceived ideas I have about how the shoot will go and what the pictures will look like, kids have a mind of their own. They are going to be who they are and do what they want, no matter who’s watching. Lucky for me, this goes well with my style! I love capturing true personalities on camera, and it takes clients who are willing to show their emotions and be themselves in order to do that. …and kids are the BEST at that!
Will & Everette were great! The shoot didn’t go exactly according to our plan, but I’ve come to expect that when I’m working with kids this young. They were adorable nonetheless! Here’s a peek into their photo session.
I love the pictures of the Heckman’s! What a cute family. Will is getting SO big and Ev is just precious. Great job capturing their family!

PS. The day after the shoot, Will was sent home from nursery school with 102temperature and Ev almost ended up at Children’s… Yikes!! I guess they were trying to tell us something!
